:33 < kitty, ac is so so so sorry you have to deal with this!
:33 < *ac talked this one over with a furiend and got some advice*
:33 < you deserve to f33l safe, no matter what the circumstances. this guy? this guy is stepping over that, and you don’t have to take it.
:33 < telling him to leave you alone was a good furst step. changing your blog was a good step, although it’s unfurtunate that you had to even go that far. sadly, you may have to again. make sure your furiends know what the deal is so if he tries to contact anybody and get infurmation about you, he won’t suc33d.
:33 < you might want to have a furiend tell him that if he doesn’t leave you alone you’ll call the purrlice. you might want to call the purrlice without giving him a warning. tell them your situation and get their advice and any purrotection they f33l is apurropriate to offur you.
:33 < *ac doesn’t know what the purrlice would offur, but it still s33ms like a good idea*
:33 < if you have any saved copies of things he’s said that s33m threatening or unsettling in any way, give them to the cops, while saving copies fur your own records.
:33 < don’t wait until you’re sure that he has your infurmation, either. err on the side of caution furst, okay?
:33 < be safe out there, kitty.
:33 < do any other kitties have any advice to offur?

:33 < *ac is of the purrsonal opinion that cuddling furiends is a thing that n33ds to happen a lot*
:33 < that said, the best way to find out if somebody likes you is to ask them. you can’t bet on other people coming out and telling you without purrovocation! so! ask her!
:33 < maybe she’s into you, maybe she isn’t, and maybe she’s kindasorta but doesn’t think you’d be interested, so she hasn’t purrsued you yet. the only way to find out is from her!
:33 < good luck, kitty! <3

:33 < *ac shooshpaps you* it’s not that weird!
:33 < there’s a point, maybe several points, in everyone’s life were they look at what they have believed and decide if they still believe it.
:33 < some people get reaffurmed whenever they examine their beliefs, and some people learn that they believe something totally diffurent.
:33 < some people go from having very strong religious leanings to becoming atheist or agnostic, and vice fursa. the fact you’re looking at what you believe critically and s33ing if it serves you is not a bad thing.
:33 < okay, so it might be an uncomfurtable thing, but not a bad one.
:33 < take your time and figure out what you f33l. maybe it’s something as vague as “not this” and maybe you’ll find another religion or belief structure or nothing at all is what resonates with you. this is a purrocess that can take some time, though, so be furgiving with yourself; none of us has all the answers, after all.
:33 < good luck, and ac hopes you find what you’re looking fur…and that your class isn’t too icky to sit through!

:33 < sadly, there’s no way to furce your parents to trust you.

:33 < lots of parents are working on both the hope that they can k33p you from getting hurt and the belief that if you follow what they say, they can succ33d in that objective.

:33 < sometimes that works, but a lot of times people end up with parents who are too purrmissive, too opurressive, too lenient, too strict, et cetera, even though almost all parents are impurrfect beings doing the best they can with what expurrience they have, you know?

:33 < so ac is going to assume your parents are being extra pushy with you because they think that k33ping you from even s33ing the inside of your boyfuriend’s house will k33p you safe.

:33 < you might try talking to your parents, and try to find out what it is they’re actually hoping to accomplish. if they’re worried you’ll be in danger at your boyfuriend’s house, maybe they could meet his parents or lusus and they can reassure yours that you’ll be safe. maybe you can have a talk about how you f33l about your decisions, or simply reassure them that while, yes, you are an adult now, you also still n33d their love and guidance, just…not their repurression.

:33 < *ac thinks you purrobably shouldn’t use the word repurression, though, as parents don’t generally like being told they’re doing that*

:33 < ac doesn’t know how helpful that was, but she wishes you good luck!

:33 < you had ac’s sympathy fur most of this.
:33 < *ac is going to take this bit-by-bit*
:33 < furst, it is unfurtunate when you like someone who doesn’t f33l the same way about you. if you have any doubts, however, there’s no harm in talking to the purrson and s33ing if there’s more pawtential there than you purreviously thought.
:33 < next, ac has already put her opinions on settling fur someone on the record; never settle fur someone just because they are available and the purrson you really want isn’t. they always deserve better than that.
:33 < so good fur you, fur not trying to be with someone just because they’re convenient. that rules out those thr33 girls, but you will be kind and understanding about it when you let them down, right? of course you will. they can’t help their f33lings any more than you can help yours fur the purreviously mentioned girl.
:33 < …not gonna lie, the last bit kind of pisses me off.
:33 < treating someone like they’re worth less because they have a sexual history is wrong. treating someone like they’re worth less because they’re rumored to have one is also wrong. a purrson has the right to make their own decisions with their own body as they choose; and yeah, sometimes people make less-healthy decisions about their how ready or safe they are or about who they do it with, but these are still their decisions to make.
:33 < and treating someone like they’re worth less because your furiends look down on them? i can’t decide if that’s just as bad or worse.
:33 < now, i could s33 you having concerns if the girl in question had a history—not a rumored history, but an actual history—of cheating on people. i could s33 having hang-ups if she had a habit—not a rumored habit, but an actual habit—of being a jerk inside and outside of a relationship. i could totally understand if these were things you were worried about!
:33 < and ac could totally, totally understand if you didn’t want to date the girl because you were too diffurent or you just didn’t like her.
:33 < but ac doesn’t know that any of these are what’s going on, and it’s wrong to think of anybody as less than a purrson or less worthy of love and pity just because of an actual or rumored sexual past.
:33 < so, my advice on who to court? easy.
:33 < none of them.
:33 < do not court the girl you like if she definitely does not have quadrant f33lings fur you, but don’t worry, you’ll find someone else you can like.
:33 < do not court the girls that like you but you don’t like, because they deserve better than to briefly be with someone who’s just going to dump them fur someone “better” when the oppurrtunity purresents itself.
:33 < and do not court the last girl, because seriously, if your furiends’ opinions and the pawsibility of her having had or enjoyed sex ever in her life are enough to make you judge her as worthless? then she deserves better than you.
:33 < *ac loves you, kitty, as she loves all her follower-kitties and anon-kitties, but she also loves you too much to sugar-coat things fur your comfurt*

:33 < regardless of what your mom-lusus says, getting a job can be a very good thing! you get money, you get more control over your life, and you kind of get furced to acquire more life skills that you might not get staying at home, like learning how to take orders, remember things, do really fast math, or deal with people gracefully without biting them.
:33 < and getting a job can be good fur finding out what works and doesn’t work fur you. maybe this is how you find out you never ever ever want to work on a car, or make coff33, or type all day? finding out what doesn’t suit you is every bit as impawtent as finding out what does.
:33 < on the other paw, ac also understands that sometimes, the more someone is told to do something, the less they want to do it. people can be very contrary sometimes! so your mom might not realize that the purressure she’s putting on you is actually hindering your wanting to get a job!
:33 < if a job would be good fur you—and honestly, it’d be good fur a lot of us to have some kind of work when we don’t—then get yourself enrolled in the pawsibility of having a job and liking it.
:33 < you could find a job that’s fun! or has fun people! or you get cool stuff like discounts or fr33 food or you can play tag in the mattress depawtment or something! you never know until you get one and find out, right?
:33 < *ac wishes you lots of luck!*
